 Taken in morning of course as the sun was peaking over the mountain ridge. I go this route every morning and love seeing the sun rising over the Cascade foothills.

Cropped, unmasked, dodged and burned, saturated to a 3 level. Some cloaning (I'm still trying to learn this) step.

Sized for web. I know it's a little bit over-burned on the sun, but I still liked seeing the rays.

I'd like to know how you did the prismatic effect on the rays. Very nice, but the fence in front of the tree is, unfortunately, distracting.

Lovely shot. I think perhaps the chunk of road at the bottom of the photo detracts slightly, although the shafts of light and colours of the leaves are both fantastic.

Just a spectacular capture!

I iwsh the house wasn't there, but been there, done that, too!

Sometimes you just have to take what you can get.

7: I like this a lot even though there are a few things that bug me (1) the power line running through the tree (2) the brightness of the road (3) the building at the right. Overall this is nice though
