Well, this is a photo which I cannot entirely call "mine". The basic idea, composition, lighting is mine, but implemented by my husband, as it's a self portrait. Also the setting up of the second light source was done with help from him.
Currently I do not have any high wattage light source at home, so setup was with small wattage lamps. (about 100W)
2 sources of light - 1 dressing table lamp from top, used a piece of white cloth to diffuse it a bit. Another hand held battery operated lamp, facing the ground and reflected from the ground using a home made reflector (aluminium foil on cardboard)
With stronger lights, maybe I can get the same effect with a faster shutter speed.
The ISO setting on my camera was set to 200 for a previous shoot, and I forgot to get it to 100. I think 100 would have been better for this shot. But it is difficult to do a reshoot of this as I will get time only on weekend, so I continue with this one.

| You were dinged by the technique police on this one, but I do think the lighting itself is very nice. I also like the choice of view, profile is under utilized in my opinion. |

needs to be sharper in my opinion. nice pose though and the lighting is good

| She's a little out of focus. Also, more highlights in her hair would have added alot. |
