 A conspicuous building in a part of Amsterdam harbor, the Technology museum. In the distance a tall ship at the Shipping museum is appearing.

And what an interesting building. If you had focused more on that, maybe a bit tighter cropping I would have liked this one much better. Also the size of the picture itself really doesn't convey the size of the building even though you have the other ship to the left.

Excellent landscape photo. (foreground, midground, and background clearly defined) The horizon is in the bottom third, which is a plus. Maybe the atmosphere is hazy, but this looks a little under-exposed. The trees in the foreground seem to be exposed the best, then it fades into the background. Possibly Intentional?

Difficult exposure situation unfortunately, so there's no detail in the sky or main subject. The composition is good, but a shot later in the day would probably have given you what you were looking for here.

interesting!
i think it would be more interesting on the moring when the sun is form a different angle
and then the interesting shipbuilding is more lightened by the sun :)

Ah Amsterdam! I took a boat ride around the graften there and we sailed past this. Nice shot, especially with that galley out there in the background.
