 I attended a ghost hunt at Rolling Hills in Batavia, New York. The building was in pitch black and we used headlamps with colored filters to achieve this effect with the chair in an empty room on one of the many floors of the building.

I find myself wondering what's hiding in the dark. What is there doesn't seem too interesting. Maybe a different crop or angle would solve the problem. I like the effect you're getting on the chair, and the quality of the light behind the chair shadow.
