Thanks for all the comments. I'm glad that some people noticed the layers and repeating patterns. :) I had to mess with the autofocus brackets and change the aperature to 8.0 after trying several other settings to finally get the 'skyscraper' focused well because it kept turning out softer than I wanted it.

This image effectively conveys the Urban Landscapes theme with its definite foreground, midground, and background buildings. Great composition and exposure.

subject to 'centered' - need to find more interesting angle - use depth of field to 'focus' viewer attention

I think you are the only one so far that has a decent foreground, middle and background. like the right, left, right composition also. Would have liked to see the front one a little futher to the right. Decent focus too. 7

Could this be a lycafos photo??? This scene looks quite familiar to me, considering I worked a block from there for 6 years :)

the chimney is too distracting to me.

Great contrast between the older foreground buildings and the distant skyscraper. I like the foreground building, with its variety of surfaces and close enough to bring out all the detail

I like the repeating vertical pattern of the chimney, bell towers, skyscraper and water tower.

An unique idea - a stagger of the subjects might have been more effective

I like the way the forms all work together. The chimney, the domed towers, the watertower and finally the skyscraper. This aspect might be brought out more in B&W
