 I measure bokeh by how pleasant or unpleasant the out of focus area of the picture is to my eye. I also look at how the out of focus area is associated with the in focus part of the image. With this in mind I thought this picture worked great for this challenge. Knowing the in focus part of the picture is a bike wheel you can then determine the blurred area is the back of the bike. The next part is a personal preference and I personally like the mix of dark greens and whites in the out of focus area.

I hope everyone enjoys this picture as much as I do.

i agree...it's a fantastic shot! and i love the border. completely under-rated but you should be proud of this shot.

I really like the idea behind this shot, but find the foreground and pedal in the top of the image a bit distracting.

This is actually a really cool looking picture. One instance where big fat borders on two sides really works. The selective focus is excellent here, and you have a front bokeh that's awesome. ~10

too narrow a frame...my eye is not drawn immediatly to the focus of the subject.
