*It was a sunday afternoon, just like any other afternoon. No new cases, no telephone messages. So I propped my feet up on my desk and lit a cigarette. The smoke twirls in the air as I lean back and pull my hat over my eyes. There's the sound of heels on tile and I open my lids just as the dame opens my office door....*
I'm not much of a football fan, so Sundays are usually my "playaround" day. I've really been struggling with lighting lately, especially for portraiture. This is my attempt to set up my lights and see what happens. I tried to experiment with different angles for the lighting, as well as different angles to sit at, and tried to observe what came out. This was about the only one I was decently happy with....gave me sort of a Dick Tracy vibe. In hindsight, I think perhaps a reflector would have helped some. But overall I was going for a dark, mysterious, black and white kind of feel.
