By far, the most striking image in this... tepid challenge, IMO.
Excellent lighting/adjustments under what appear to be difficult conditions. A great find and apt choice of subject. With the dof not too narrow, this crips, detailed image would make a superb illustration as well.
Considering what else has been submitted, and putting no more than a little faith in the voters, there really is no competition for this photo. Outstanding! |

Good Points: nicely lit subject and quite good composition
Bad Points: just doesn't grab me in anyway. quite bland

| Marvelous! I love the composition, the earthy tones are very nice plus the subject is interesting. The lighting is perfect in my opinion and it fits the challenge very well. I couldn't find anything I didn't like. 10 |
