the bokeh and color are lovely, but centering a bloom this way means the image has no tension and lacks interest. I would reconsider the composition next go around. |

I would like this better if it was not full center. I think it would benefit from a tighter crop. The highlights in the flower are a bit blown out. |

rhis is so in-your-face centered I can't decide if I like it or not. On the one hand, the image feels static; on the other, it gives the flower a defiant air as if its conscious of itself. Something to contemplate. The bokeh works for me - it does make the subject stand out. |
