 Trying new processing and I just bought these shoes a few days ago too so they deserved some attention. ;)

here's how I made the border(which I'm freakishly proud of. lol):
added an "invisible" border to the canvas by choosing "canvas size" adding pixels but not in any color. got that checkerboard thing and painted slightly around edges with black. lots of it in the corners though. then used the photocopy filter.

nice one... I'm a sucker for nice legs in heels. I usually have a preference for fishnets, but the light through the blinds on this one is Hot.

Jaded Youth. You're my kind of gal with that phrase "that checkerboard thing" Now I know exactly what you mean.

Okay, down to business. Those stripes are wonderful. The plug & cord in the background are priceless. Great interpretation.

And yes, presentation is half the battle. You learned how to do it, and presented it nicely with that framing.

My favorite part of this, other than the way cool border (and I don't think I have a "photocopy filter" so I can't try it), is the cord and the outlet. Somehow that makes the shot for me. I know, I know... I'm weird. Oh, and you can WALK in those things? I'd break ankles and other things...

This looks almost 1940's a la film noir. Really cool and the way you sized each one differently is so effective. I like it.
