There was some confusion in the photo room on this one. Being new to this site and to photography in general, when the rules said "framed" vertically, I went and bought this frame at Wal-mart. lol. If you can't laugh at yourself...... I tried to get them to let me remove the frame and resubmit but that didn't fly. I hate it too because I thought the photo was pretty good. Oh well, live and learn. Thanks for your comments though!

you are right, it is a good photo...without the frame. I like the way you siloutted (I can't spell) the foreground and those clouds are beautiful. At first I thought it was looking over some berms at a beach and those were waves crashing in the background, but now I see it is mostly sky.

If I might suggest some improvements (depending of course on your software choices of course)...in Adobe Photoshop if you go into selective color you can adjust each color on different levels at a time, I have found this is really helpful to get blacks really black and whites really white. It can help with some dull colors too. If you have access to adobe or something like it you may want to check in to that.

If you have other questions I am by far not an expert but would be happy to help, pm me.

Love the photo, but find that particular frame distracting. 6

That's quite a frame you've got there, and you'll probably get dinged for it by most voters. It does look cool though. As for the shot, the sky is great and I like the sillouhettes of the reeds. The border is a bit distracting though as it makes it hard to keep my focus on the photo.

that's a fantastic idea

Love the image but not 100% sold on the border. 9

Oh that frame is going to attract comment ;-)
I'm not a fan - it detracts from and does not add to the image.

Nice shot, hideous framing. IMO anyway...
