This is a very good, very real portrait in my book. A simple real background, good natural light (or so it appears) and the glasses are just a bit askew. In other words, darn near perfect. |

I think he might be cropped a bit too tight... |

Very sensitive looking face, excellent b/w conversion. The reflections in the glasses are a bit distracting - but, all in all, a very good portrait. |

I always wonder why the crop is so tight. Maybe I just haven't learned how to appreciate this yet? Regardless, the focus is very nice...good luck to ya! |

The reflections on the glasses detract from the image a bit, although I realise they'd be really difficult avoid. A taller crop would be nice, so we can see his chin... it's just a little too tight in my opinion. |

Nice b/w shot. The galre in each lens of the glasses is a little distracting. |

only thing I don't like is the reflection in the glasses ... hides the emotion in the eyes ... maybe a circular polarizer would have helped here |

Nice lighting. I like that his glasses are ever so slightly askew. Good DOF. |

I like the contrast, lighting and pose. However, I am not sure what the Landscape format gives you but dead space... |
