This is a very classic shot of Mount Rundle in Banff National Park. Actually I was trying to take a shot for the portrait landscape challenge. The wind gusts were so strong so I decided to go for this wind shot as well.

- Used a polarizing and a 3 stop filter
- Cropped slightly
- A slight curves and saturation adjustment in photoshop
- saved for web

-Wish it was straight,
-Also....the shore line should be straightened to horizontal.

Darn! I thought it was straight... I think the slanted figure of the mountain just tricked me. The funniest thing is that I QA this type of stuff as part of my job, and I'm sometimes blamed to be very fussy... Better to get my eyes checked I guess. Thanks for the comments...

Good contrast with the very visibly blowing foreground grasses and the stability of the mountain beyond.

Nice landscape. Even the mountain looks as if it was shaped by winds. Nice contrast between sky, water and the grasses.

Nice colors and tones. Good connection to the challenge theme by strong visual illustration of wind in action. On the down side, the horizon is substantially slanted to the left. I'm surprised there's any water left in the lake! Well, just busting your chops a little with that last comment. :D Good luck in the challenge.

Nice natural colors. I think a little less foreground would improve the composition and still get the "wind point" across. Also....the shore line should be straightened to horizontal. A beauty of a scene.

Good idea for the foreground grass to be blown out of focus, but maybe your exposure should have been longer with a lower pov.

You can definately see the wind in the grass and the mountain looks great. Your horizon is a bit tilted down on the left.

Very nice that you found a place where you could isolate
some stationary objects along with the windblown parts.
Gives it balance. Good one.
