Interesting shot...though I feel it would be much better without the border, it just doesn't work for me with this shot. 7 |

I know you're proolly getting alot of nasty comments (people don't like to look at dead animals) But I think the composition is great, the colours are awesome... I like this alot. |

Almost looks like a fossil in the making. It even matches the positions you see bird fossils in. Can't say I am very excited about dead birds, but this one is capture about as well as can be done and seems to fit the challenge. |

And the title just makes it that much more appetizing. Bonus marks for originality! |

I think, maybe you did this on purpose to annoy the faint of heart? (; Doesn't bother me! Good composition, clarity of focus. |

I don't see the science in posting a picture of a dead bird... |

Don't care for the subject but it's a good technical picture and solid in category. 8

Poor thing. Journalistic looking shot. I think the focus is a little soft on the bird but it's okay. |

I suppose you try to show the dark side of science. |

Oh man the roadkill warriors are going to eviscerate you for this! Some members have weak stomachs for this kind of subject. While I might debate your allegation that acid rain is to blame, it is a very good photo - an 8 by me. |

This is actually.... a more presentable, clean, startling view of death (roadkill?). It's absolutely striking. This is excellent and sad, and its exact enough to view with a purely scientific eye. This unfortunately probably won\\\'t score high overall because it\\\'s not a postcard photo, but be assured that you\\\'ve done very well to capture a very difficult subject. You *should* score in the top, even if you don\\\'t. |

wow, very powerful photo. the composition is pretty good, though it could be shifted any number of ways and look a little more 'natural' |
