| I think the DoF is too shallow. Most of the seeds flying away are beyond the focal plane which makes them seem to be part of the background instead of the subject. |

| Pretty good depiction of the effects of wind, though the little seeds blend into the background a bit. I'm not particularly fond of the border - I don't normally comment on borders unless I think they distract from the presentation. A simple thin black border might have been more effective, but I also realize it's a matter of personal taste. |

Your subject matter is cool and different. I like your viewpoint, that you got in close and filled the frame with the subject. The business of the background is pretty distracting, and the seeds on the right kind of blend in with them. Maybe a little flash would bring those out and freeze them if they are in action. |
