great curves and great colors. all you need is a larger depth of field.

What about 'this machine'? What is a 'planatograph' anyway?!?!

Something old. Use your photographic technique to emphasize the age of your subject.
Composition - good, tube on lower left bothers me a little
Technical Aspects - good
Meets Challenge - yes
Visual Impact / Originality - good

Very nice! Excuse my ignorance - I don't know what it is. Nice focus and color. I like that the dust/particles on the glass is visible. The cropping and angle are great too. 9

Good photo. more depth of field would have helped.

This strange engine... Nicely lit and photographed. Good focus and colour. Not at all sure what it is though :)

This is a great photo ΓΆ€“ but I haven't a clue what the object is. It does feel old, and I really like the composition. (7)

would like to see greater depth of field. Hard I know

This is definitely a nice photograph of an old camera... I think you could have achieved the depth of field you wanted by backing up a little bit and working with the resolution of your camera to crop a section from a larger photo. Some cameras don't work as well at close range as others do... -jmsetzler

Nice old lens-- the only problem is all the glaring highlights from the light source.
