Back to comment: This image looks a bit out of focus. You may want to sharpen more after down sizing an image for a challenge. Most people use Unsharp Mask to bring back the sharpness lost because of down sizing. As for the composition of the image, the two dark blurs (cows I think - one in the foreground and one mid-image on the right) are really distracting and actully ruin what little interest this image has. The dried grass is not a very exciting subject to start with and the shallow depth of field does nothing to enhance it. Sorry if my comments come across as brutal but this image is not very good. |

I would make it so the "blob" in the foreground were missing. I like the idea of the cow behind the wisps of waving grass. |

Interesting idea. I like the colors and the shapes, but it's just a little too small depth of field for my taste. |

I'd give more points if this were in the bokeh challenge, but the subject (grass/wheat) is just not strong enough to carry the photo. 5. |
