 Another one of several hundred photos taken at Lake Powell over the past week. It was an amazing kayak trip and one of the most physically challenging vacations I've ever been on- we paddled nearly 45 miles over 6 days. My photos certainly don't do justice to this beautiful environment carved and shaped by wind and water erosion.

Ha! I completely understand... This photo is a personal best so I'm excited about that, but it is very tempting to wonder "what if?" hehe!

Lake Powell is an amazing place...

Congrats on your above '6' picture too, the framing is very cool!

My Landscape entry into this challenge was also taken at Lake Powell! Isn't it a beautiful place?! I took a gazillion photos and couldn't decide which one to enter. I selected an unusual view....through a pueblo window....it finished above '6' so I'm happy! But you always wonder "what IF I would have entered the other one...!) Great Job!

would have been great either later or earlier in the day (depending on when this shot). and a more wide angle POV, closer to that rock formation in the water. then it would have been killer. Nice colors, and handling of a tough exposure.

Somehow, I want to see more of the right and left of this scene. Perhaps it is the horizontal white line on the cliff leading me to the sides. It might have been better in the landscape orientation. Still it is a very nice photo.
