can you take a portrait of flowers? I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt here - and agree that this is a fine portrait of some flowers! Never thought flowers would be a nice break in a challenge - but here you are!

Sharper with more contrast would make your portrait stronger IMO. :-)

Ugh...that challenge just brings back bad memories. Great focus on those two buds - I think the flowers could have used more. Good luck to ya!

Back to comment: Sorry but this is more of a still life than a portrait in my opinion. The image if very well done but I'm afraid last week's Bokeh III challenge would have been a better fit for this image.
