Nice capture of sailboats against the San Francisco skyline - clean, crisp, hope it does well. |

Marvelous clarity - what a great day that must have been for sailing. I love the angle of the light in this, too. |

Nice scenic shot. Certainly indicates wind is present. Too bad you couldn't get a more interesting sky to cooperate the day of your shot. Best of luck to you in the challenge. |

Awwww. You got out there and took advantage of our beautiful weather during the past few days. This is just gorgeous. Excellent colors, composition, and all the rest. And those sails were just barely filled by the miniscule wind we have had with the warmth. I'll look forward to knowing who this is after the challenge. |

I had a couple of sailboat shots that had spinakers up but, I didn't like the background so I went with something different. I like yours I would have given even more with spinakers up but, you don't have control over that. Good contrast, color, focus, and it meets the challenge well. |

Meets challenge: 1/1
Focus is on challenge subject: 0/1
Creativity: 1/3
Composition 1/2
Technical: 2/2
New technique (idea that's never been tried) 0/1
Extra/Less ponts: none
Total: 5
I like the texture of the lighting on the roofs of the houses; the time of day you picked worked out well, and made the sail boats stand out a little more than if it were at a different time. You used the rule of thirds well, but the composition is a little symetrical to me. I would have liked to see the sailboats spread out a little different. I know you don't have control of where they go, but maybe if you waited a few minutes one of the boats would have came closer. |

Great composition with the sailboats in the river/harbor. The only critique I really have is that the background of the cityscape is so busy that the sailboats almost get lost amongst the buildings. Very nice clarity in the shot. Score: 9 |
