wrong challenge ? Deep rumination on the nature of portraits and our interaction with the environment ? Anthropomorphizing a huge pile of rock ? |

Portrait of a mountain? Not really my idea of what the challenge was about. |

Yeah, "Orientation" was on the second line on my mainpage, too - I almost missed it. This is an interesting take on "Portrait in [a] Landscape." I think it needs more contrast. The snow seems a little too gray. I'd also like to see a bit more of the "son" on the right. |

You did this on purpose...landscape as portrait...father and son? Hope so...good luck to ya! It looks like it could be tilted slightly to the right...towards the 'son'. |

Sorry. Usually I'm quite generous on DNMC pictures, but this challenge was so clear that I'm being much more harsh. I do like mountains - in this case, I'd have liked to see more contrast between sky and ground. Nice sharpness to the snow and the mountain line. |

Even with your given title, this is a landscape in aldscape orientation. IMHO it doesn't fit in neither exclusive challenges. |
