What a fun outing this turned out to be. :D I had some time off in the afternoon to watch our youngest one. Get down to the stream and he (of course) wants to play in the water. Fine, no problem - tell him "be careful". I'm nearly setup (filters, tripod positioned, etc...) when some little person slips and gets soaked to the skin up to his neck. Arrrggghhh! Fortunately it was a warm day, but we had to pack up and make the trip back to the house and change clothes. Ok, all set for the return trip, but now I'm almost out of time. Have to run in 20 minutes to pick up the other kids at the bus stop...hurry, hurry, hurry. Well, the shots I liked the best had a big ole stinking footprint from me walking over the rocks! Duh! Wasn't going to do it over again (would have actually used a slower lens for better blur too), so hopefully this one works and doesn't get too lost in all the water shots I'm sure will be in this challenge. |

Like the two yellow vs 2 orange leaves - neat contrast, excellent exposure |

I like the colors and the grainy-ness of this photo - seems almost a painting rather than a photo. |

Lovely. I'd up the saturation of the yellow and red. |
