Gratuitous, maybe, but terribly cute. That's such a classic cat-playing image.

Could be sharper, and too bad the cat isn't a bit more in view or facing the camera. Would be cool to see one where the cat is staring out of the hamper at the camera like a tiger poised in the trees.

Nicely composed and exposed and look like a very sweet little cat but challenge wise not enough for me.

I like cat shots that are done artistically. This one just looks like a snap shot though. If the cat was looking out, and with a closer crop it might be more interesting.

I have a cat and love cat photos. This one is great!

And what a cutie he/she is! Mine do the same thing, hide in the basket and then you wonder why it's so heavy when you pick it up! :)

As for the shot, at first it threw me, not exactly sure why, maybe the way the clothes are wrapped around the cat and kinda wirl around in the shot. If you could have gotten the cat to look directly at you the shot would be close to perfect but again, I know how difficult that can be! Also if the cat wasn't quite so centered I would like it more, a little bit more cropping on the right side, then you wouldn't lose the wirl and flow of the shot. I'm starting with a 6 on this one but will be back to look at it again.

I think your gratuitous cat shot is cute, has a playful air to it. Wish there was a bit more focus on the cats face/head, but that may just be the light on the fur. Fun photo.
