This was my first entry on dpchallenge and clearly I made the image too small. Many thanks for all the contructive comments! I'll make it larger next time.

sorry, I know you probably got a lot of the same comment. I think it could have done a lot better if it were bigger. It looks like it is a great scene.

way too small

Back to comment: This image is much smaller than what is allowed for a challenge. The longest side of your image should be 640 pixels. When your image is this small, it is hard to see the details and judge the quality of the image. Because of that, many people will give a low vote and move on without really looking.

You should have a better score if you have posted it bigger.

Composition looks good, although it's hard to tell. Read tutorial on resizing.

You'll probably get lower scores because you photo is so small. Check out the tutorial here//www.dpchallenge.com/tutorial.php?TUTORIAL_ID=26 to learn how to maximize your next one. The tutorial is for Photoshop, but the principles translate well for Paintshop Pro. Someone pointed me to it after I made the same mistake on my first entry. Looks like you have a nice shot, but because it is small, it doesn't show off well.
