I like the way the light foreground works with the dark background. Pleasing color of the sky and good detail. Nice shot. |

I realy like this picture and how the grass sort of matches the pointed shape of the hills reflection. It would have made it a little better if you cropped out a bit of bottom, even though I think it is interesting how you see the leaves under the water- it just kind of distracts from the other points of interest and horizon. |

OK...OK....close to perfect...how did you get the sky reflections to frame the plants like that....are you some kinda water-sprite? |

It's lovely the way the grass fronds are leaning in towards the center to accentuate the triangular nature of the dominant composition. It's sort of "leading shapes" instead of "leading lines". The touch of mist on the water in the background is a sublime grace note. I'm less enthusiastic about the dominance of the foreground. I understand what you're after, but there's a little too much of it IMO. I'd crop up to just under the left end of the near stick, I think, but it's a tough one. Nice shot, whichever way :-) |
