my good friend Aneeka again. she was born in Ontario, Canada, but has direct Indian ancestry. Both her parents are from India. Beautiful girl, we're working on her a modeling portfolio, and this is one of the shots from the day.
Post Processing:
Raw Conversion...custom whitebalance with Lightroom Beta. Slight contrast boost, and +3 hugh boost. Slight skin smoothing "airbrush" technique i'm working on. sharpening on the eyes, took quite a bit of work, but think it finally got there. those eyes really are that bright. there really was no dodging to bring them out, you'd have to see them w/ your own eyes to understand how much they really pop.
added the border, picking a green hue from her eye color to bring the photo in, using 50pixel canvas size adjustment.
save for web. submit.
i really have quit the whole "think this will do well" for i jinx myself everytime. i'm mainly in this to grow as a photographer, and see where it can take me.
if i had to guess, i would hope this is a 6.25+ one of my favorites in a while.
