I did almost the same thing. My date was almost 2 years off, and it was for a blue ribbon.
Oh well, ya live and learn.

Great capture.
He seems to be crying, don't know if that is what you wanted.
Image does look like it is falling over, might have been to straightened the horizontal from the road(?). |

I think this is a wonderful photo of both portrait as well as landscape. Very interesting! And his eyes (well I guess, eye,) are piercing against the the neutrals of the photo. Love it! 10! |

You might get yelled at for it, but I like the sharpness here. For the subject matter, it really works. His eye color, strangely enough, is what I like most about this. It's a lovely contrast to the warm tones in the rest of the image.
Fab, dahlink. 10. ;o) |

This is an astonishing shot, that I found immensely impactful and interesting. I worry that you're going to get penalised for the off-level horizon. However, the colours are great - I particularly like the match between the figure and the field. Having him half off the camera is a particularly bold statement - that for this person, the mountain is as important as half his face. Superb job. |

Love this...I might have to vote this challenge JUST so I can vote on this image. I would love to see it on the front page. The tones and composition are great. |
