I you are going to make this cheescake, I hope you have as much fun as I did... It was difficult to take pictures during the challenge as my fingers were covered in the cheescake filling (Unintentional of course...) I had to keep washing my hands so I didn't get my camera covered in food!

Scottish Strawberry Marbled Cheescake
-------------------------------------

Incrediants
-----------
4 ounces of butter
2 packets of traditional Scottish oatcake biscuits
2 large tubs of Philadelphia soft cheese
1 large carton of fresh whipping cream
2 tablespoons of icing sugar
1 pack of fresh Scottish Strawberrys (Or tinned strawberrys)
3-4 large wine glasses

Cooking Method
--------------

Base
----
To make the base of the cheescake you have to crush the Scottish Oatcake biscuits until there are no large chunks left. Melt the butter either over a flame or in the microwave. Pur the melted butter into the Scottish oatcakes and mix until the Scottish oatcakess are bound together.

Spoon the Scottish oatcake mix into your large wine glasses, even out the mixture in the glass to form a compressed base.

Filling
-------
To make the filling of the cheescake you have to mix the soft philadelphia cheese with the icing sugar. Slowly pour the whipping cream into tthe mixture until has a thick consistancy.

Spoon the mixture into your wine glasses using a cold metal tablespoon.

Topping
-------
Cut the fresh Scottish strawberry's in half and gently place them around the top of the wine glasses adding that nice little finishing touch.

Nice placement of subject. The flower was a nice touch. Good composition. 6.

I love the lighting and the composition! I would give 10 if I were a member and could vote as well.

Presentation and lighting are great. My only constructive criticism would be that the image needs to be sharper.

The lighting on this shot is wonderful, well balanced and no glares. The reflections in the glasses is subtle and very pleasing to the eye. I keep thinking if that third glass was in focus it would be close to perfect but then it reminds me of the "third" party butting in type thing too, just on the fringes ready to ruin the mood per say. I think if had brought the camera up just a bit and gotten more of what was in the top of the glasses this would be a perfect shot. An 8 to start with.

Very pretty presentation, interesting lighting - an overall nice shot. I especially like the refelction in the table.

Hmm.. I like the set up. Black background works nicely with the white doilies and carnation. The food looks good, but it has a lack of dynamic to keep me in the picture - I find the props hold my interest more. Maybe if there were more layers in the dessert, then the view we have of it would attract my attention better. Lighting is great and the arrangement of items works well. 7

All you need is John Ritter in the shot!

Nicely set up. I like how you put the one further back instead of keeping them in a row. Everything looks great, but it seems the colors could be a little bit richer.

Very nice work.

The reflections on the table from the flower is good, and adds some colour - Almost feel this could have been better against a white background though - feels very dark.

Oh my... hard to critisize, but I will. First, I gave you a 9... now-- I think that you needed to get the "white balance" to match the lighting. I think the yellowish tinge is probably avoidable though it would be work, I'm sure. The 'cream' could get away with being yellowish, but not the doillies. I do have a gamma matched monitor and I'll admit that my critique is on the edge. The photo is, otherwise, flawless.
