Nicely done! On my monitor, which is pretty dark, your head and hands/flower appear as two distinct pieces floating in space. I like that effect. :)

Wow, very emotional! I love how the black suit gets lost in the dark and the red rose stands out so much.

Not sure about the choices for selective coloring. I guess I understand the rose, but the shirt? The jacket and hair get a bit lost in the background, I think a white background might have worked better?

I like this one even better than the one in your portfolio - I like your expression better, and the lighting and detail is much stronger. Very nice work!

The difference between the soft tint of the skin and the saturated color of the flower is a bit jarring.

very emotive - well done. I'm guessing this was a reshoot as otherwise it would not meet the date for the challenge.

usually I'm not really an emotive photo-lover, but this one stands out. I dig the muted colors of your face and hands, and the bright red of the rose. great job!!

very touching. The only thing that bothers me about this is that your hair has becomes part of the background thus highlighting your browline which to me has become the most prominent focal point of the photo instead of the flower. If I imagine a little bit your face and shirt area sort of form a misshapen heart, so that could sort of work...
