Oh I like this shot!! Excellent concept and composition. I love the dof and focus on the trumpet.
Bout my only nit is the on camera flash reflection in your eyes. Very very nice work!!!! |

I think I'd like it better with your face in focus. to me that's more interesting than the trumpet ;-) |

Not too sure what you were after here. Your left hand is about the only thing close to being in focus other than the one bar on the trumpet. Needed to crank up that DOF and not use the on camera flash for light. |

Man with the horn! A nice study allowing the horn to speak louder while you do your thing in the background. Cool. Bump. |

It seems the focus of this portrait is on the horn instead of the person. Even then, the point of focus seems to be the knob by the pinkie finger. |

Depth of focus is quite unorthodox. But I like how it emphasizes the playing of the instrument. |

i'd love to hear it. not sure if the person should have been more in focus or the horn, guess you chose the horn.
