 I've seen this technique before and thought to give it a try. It is a very cool thing to do but very hard to get something fluid and useful. I tried a whole variety of shots ranging from twirling, swinging, drawing with light and so on. This was attempt 1 million and finally I got something I thought might be well received. This "angel" was purely luck and a result of hours of shooting. You can create wonderful art with this technique if you have and ability to draw in 3D, in the air, in the dark and within the lens frame. This will hang in my daughter's room when all is done.

This is neat. I've tried the smoke thing, which this reminds me of, but not simply painting with light. I don't have the ability to draw in 2D in the light on paper though so I dunno...
