 Went out for a sunset-drive with my granddaughter and we witnessed the first storm of the season. Water rose 2 metres in some areas of Denmark. A fantastic sight and I used the car seat as a tripod :)
Opened up in Nikon Capture, upped the exposure a little bit, changed sharpness, tone comp, color mode and made some hue adjustment.
In Photoshop. Levels, curves and sharpness. Color in adj. layers. Dodged and burned. Straigthened a little bit and cropped after that. Noise red., USM and save for web.

night shots can be so difficult - too short of an exposure leaves you with an overly dark image (as I feel this one suffers from). Too long of an exposure result in too soft of focus. I think you got fairly sharp focus, but sadly lost definition in the shadows.

I can see some cool colors....barely. Maybe needed a bit longer exposure?
