If it wasn't for the Red at the very top, I'd sware you flashed with gel's. Nonetheless, its a great work. Would like to know how the stars are so white and pin-pointed?

wonderful lighting and color. Nice angle of this shot.

Wow! Great photo. I love the contrast and color. Very much like the star action. Good use of light. The perspective is great. Lighthouses in general have a lonely feel to them but this one possibly because of the coloring seems very strong and stable - not so much a lonely feel. Vaguely solitary though, fits the challenge all the same. Nice photo with a good impact. 8

Exceptional shot. I love that you can see the stars! I love it...

Great lighting and using a horizontal format lets the negative space define the shape of the lighthouse and emphasize its lonely position.

Is that a meteor to the left?

That is a great shot. And that is a lonely job from what I've heard. I love the way the stars are so clearly visible, that shows that this is not very close to a port town where I've seen a couple. I wonder which constallations those are.

The red is really beautiful against the black sky. Two questions. What is that red patch up at the top? Did you try it in portrait position? I really have to fight to get my eyes to look away from the patch.

Excellant, excellant image. Good color and star capture. I wonder if you purposely placed the constellation Scorpio just to the left of the lighthouse. This is the best star capture image I have ever seen at DPC. Given the angle I'd guess this was taken near the Equator or in the Southern Hemisphere. Great job.
