You did a great job with the color in this - I especially like the patch of green grass near the center - kind of adds a spark to it. I think the composition may have hurt the score for this one, though. The one tree has a very dark side, and that with it's reflection are right in the center of the picture. Not sure you could get a lot closer unless you happened to have a boat handy, but maybe compose a bit more to the right or the left, depending on what was there. |

I guess that new popup message asking for comments on scores below 4 isn't working. Six people owe you comments as to why they thought your entry sucked. I don't agree with those ratings. I like this and agree with Kivet that the sky is probably what hurt this. But skies can be fixed with advanced editing. Unfortunately, one thing that can't be fixed in post processing is the straight line of the shore that cuts the photo in half. Still I like the shot, especially the little picnic table. |

i love your colors here and i think if the sky wasnt blown this would have placed much higher. |

I gave this shot a 7 so I think it was underrated. Tought break. Not many comments to explain why either, which is a bit naff. |

I bet the colors were really vibrant here. This seems to be oversaturated or overexposed or something. Nice try though |
