Taken at Padley Gorge in the Peak District I entered a crop of this in the Landscape in portrait orientation challenge.

I had real trouble resizing this image for the challenge and in the end I gave up.

This would have done great in the challenge me thinks...love the log, gives the image a very powerful look of what could have caused it to fall.

I like this shot, espcially the log that creates a nice strong vertical for you in the photo, This gives a tremendous feeling of depth to the photo. I think I like it just the way it is. Great shot.

The green are luxurious in this. Those smaller branches and twigs would need to be gardened out in my opinion. Greta shot though
