 This image is the self-portrait of another DPC member who for the moment will remain anonymous at her request.

She was trying to recreate my profile image and gave up on the image. She showed it to me on the promise that I wouldn't "post it on the internet." I worked on the image and she liked the results so much that she wants comments on it.

Processing: Convert to B&W, Levels, Contrast to 50, Bright to -10) Cloned/Dodged/Burned around the armpit to thin, Dodged the chest to remove a heavy shadow from the arm holding the camera, Burned the breasts a touch (that sounds sooo wrong), Burned the tattoo a bit, Burned the forehead and eyes.

UPDATED IMAGE: Applied feedback about the eyes and should being too blown out. Burned them in a bit, but not very well.

Nice image, I like the pose and B&W conversion. A biit of blown higlights around the eyes are a bit distracting, but overall I like it.

Wonderful light! The pose is open yet tentative which makes me wonder about the thoughts in her mind at the moment. I really like the crop and tones of the image. The tattoo acts as the start of an imaginary line that leads my eye to her face. I don't mind the blow outs as it lends itself to the over all feel of the image. Very nice collaboration.
