 I was chosen to do some pictures for the United Way calendar. They used firefighters, paramedics and police officers as the models.

So naturally, I was given Edward Scissorhands... ;-)

I had access to strobes too, shot with one from above behind for the smoke and shadows and a softbox from the front.
The scissors are made from foam.

hahaha. this is great. i have trouble picturing this as a united way calendar but maybe i'm just not getting the picture...

the watch is an interesting part of the photo. that foam looks sharp!
