| I love this image. Fits the challenge generally (I don't get a feeling of solitude or loneliness) but I think its wonderful. The colors are glorious, I love the detailing and excellent focus. The lighting is perfect, the leaf looks translucent, how was that achieved? A leaf frozen in ice? Regardless its a great image. Well done. 9 |

| interesting fall colors in background blur...nice water drop, overall it's a little lacking - too small a part of the leaf? to centered? the leaf veining is nice but more of that texture would have helped for this viewer |

| I knew this was a 10 before seeing the first full inch of download. The tiny outline of highlight and the vivid texture of the leaf are outstanding. If there was an 11 I'd give it that. |

| Nice sharp focus on the subject. The dof works great to seperate the subject from the background. The drop really adds to the composition. It just gives it that little something extra. The colors and light are also tremendous. |

| Lovely autumn colors and detail of the leaf captured. I would have liked the drop just a little closer to falling so that it looks more separated from the leaf, but that's really not that big of a deal. |

| Just amazing! The colors and tones work well, the leaf and water drop are very focused and sharp. If it weren't for the darkness in the lower right and upper left this would be one of the best pics I've ever seen on DPC (10) |

great photo.. it doesn't much instill me with a feeling of loneliness.. i guess i haven't sympathy for leaves the way some do.. I'm sure you'll make it somewhere with the photo- i gave you a 7
