Nice capture, would have like to see more highlights/shadows and detail on the feathers to make them stand out more, but nice shot anyway. Like the depth of field as well.

I am not sure I like the birds legs being cropped out of the frame tah may hurt the score some but I really do like the texture and clarity of the birds feathers. thanks for sharing the image with us and good luck in the challenge!

Nice shot overall. Great details in the tail feathers area. The eye and head isn't as sharp as the forementioned area. Getting the eye crisp is essential to a strong wildlife photo. The whites also feel a little understated and closer to grey tones (although that could be this cruddy work monitor). All JMO of course. Good luck in the challenge.
