I really like this idea but as a newbie learning about cropping, I would like to see the close cluster of benches on the left and the poles on the right cropped out. I think it would be less busy and the viewer would quickly understand the intention of the picture... and because not all old age is empty and barren, some fitting alternate titles would be "Absence" or a more optimistic one, "Awaiting Return". |

I shall assume by your comment your are stil relatively young, because there truly is nothing barren or empty from old age... or so I am told. A very nice image that might have garnered a few more points if you showed the scene going downhill... and you linked the going downhill to the age factor.(Joking of course)
Well done, and the best of luck with the "Old Age" crowd...hehehehe. |

You aren't going to make a lot of seniors happy with that title. Fine grained imaged, but generally uninteresting. |

Lose some of the dead space on the left and right side of the photo. make it more balanced. |
