Passaic River
17mm f/11 shutter speeds 2.5, 1.3, 0.8, 0.6, 0.4. 1/4, 1/6 raw
Photomatix Pro trial HDR Generate, Tone Mapping
PS spot editing - watermark, rain droplets, hot spots, resize, color space, USM, save for web.

The main idea was to try to capture the leaves flowing downstream in the river, motion blurred in contrast to everything else in sharp detail. I was pleased with the contrast recovered by HDR, as the light and rain was pretty dismal. It was drizzling, and there just wasn't enough light to do anything more - my attempts to get more interesting subjects ended up with me sheltering from the rain. Oh well, this is it.

love the flow of this photo. Looks like something Robert might do, with just a little less color ;) Good luck 8

I really like the motion that the leaves give to the photo. Use of HDR is pretty subtle (a good thing!) but the colors seem a tad vibrant for my taste (or my monitor)

Seems a bit busy to me with no real focal point. But I love the colors and the reflections.

The focus just seems a littl off to me; love the water movement.

Beautiful image. The leaves in the water really get lost though among the tree reflections. Nice colors. 8

Pretty shot but id play with the settings to eliminate some of the glow that seems evident with the trees at the back.
