Remorseful Glow
Two exposures, 4 images: (-2,0,1,2) About 12 stops.
I doubt this will do well at all. It's dark, and not very stereo-typical for HDR. It's an HDR that actually looks plausible! *Gasp*
Oh well, I like it.
Much thanks, again, to my pal Drew.

Thanks to everyone that left great comments! I really appreciate it. For all the doubters and haters that thought this wasn't HDR... It is. =]
As for the lines that someone asked about, they were cast from the light bulb. I was annoyed at first, but I dedcided I sort of liked them over this last week...
Thanks again to the voters, even if you didn't like me... =D |

Awesome job! I like the lines too, they give a grungy effect. You deserved a much higher score, but I think the voters were probably looking for sunsets and landscapes (snore). I want to try something like you've done here eventually. |

Nice idea, but the image seems simply too dark for my taste -- I'd like to see more detail, especially to show off HDR. |

What a crazy shot - and so creative. The use of the clear lightbulb with HDR is quite unique |

Great photo I hope you do well a lot simpler then most in here but I think it was toward the top. |

A good example of a situation where HDR could be used to good advantage. However, there is little detail revealed in the shadowy areas of the image, including the man's face. You managed to suppress the glow of the light bulb very effectively. Still a very compelling image! |

Seems a bit too dark maybe? But I love the concept, and really love the lines across the face - gives it a very neat feel. |

I'm really pleased to see some effective use of the technique with real purpose. Nicely lit scene with attractive toning. |

Love this one! I'd love to learn more about how you created this, and about the streaks across his face...how? |

I really like this. It has a magical quality about it. The intensity of it makes it almost look like an Old Master's painting. Upon 2nd review, bumping up. |
