This is Lóa, first time modeling for me for DPC anyways, have taken a couple of photos of her before but never done a whole photoshoot with just her. Am most definately going to use her again so look out for her in the future.
We brought a bunch of stuff that qualifies as headwear to the studio, different hats, sunglasses, scarfs and a flower but this one I thought worked best, I kindof liked the contrast from the old wool cap versus the fancy dress. The cap is mine by the way, warm as heck and wear it all the time when I go out shooting in the long cold winter nights here in Iceland.
Lit with 4 lights, two softboxes from the front, one from behind for hairlight and one with a honeycomb on the floor blasting away at the backround to create the spot effect on it.
Post processing all basic stuff, raw conversion, curves and sharpened after resizing. Oh and we only had one green and one purple hairband so I had to use replace color in PS to color all the green (reas as: just the green headband since it´s the only green thing in the shot) to purple so they matched. Wish I had the advanced rules on this shot as there are a couple of things I would wanna do with it but nothing that is really bothering me. |

Would have been a blue if you had dressed up like that yourself. :)
Cool shot, don't like the background you used though. |

Gorgeous lighting on this shot. I'm curious to know whether that backdrop was lit from behind or if you're shining a light on it from the front. |

Nice lighting on the model. Lovely detail in the dress. If I could change one thing, it would be to make the background more blurry. |

I have to be honest - I love the photo except for the hat. The model is beautiful - the colors great - the hat - ouch! |

The lighting is nice, pretty model. I think the outfits lacks a cohesivness though. The dress and the headwear don't seem to fit together and the purple hair ties throw it off too. The little things really do make a big difference. |
