Didn't vote this challenge, but I love this image, especially the background. The photo overall is lovely, but the hot spots on the bottom of the vase are distracting, as is the hot spot on the right hand side. Just cropping the right-hand hot spot would crowd the flowers too much, I think, so they would need to be moved a titch. If you ever try a reshoot, I'd love to see it in your portfolio.

| Really love the effect...prefrred to see the co9lumns go all the way across and a little illumination on the flowers. Very neat concept. |

| Love the feeling of grace this offers. I would have been tempted to crop off the very low base and leave the flowers floating in space. |

| Wow, I love the contrasting textures in this image. The vase has a real organic, sensuous feel while the background is more structured. The lighting looks great to me. As a personal preference I'd rathered one of the blooms be facing me the viewer. The red against the neutral is just the right amount of color to draw the eye to the flowers, doesn't over power the simplicity of the image. Well done. 7 |
