aliqui: Thanks for the suggestion; I haven't played with it, but I know that this would have been far far better if I could have used advanced editing. Also, I forgot to set my white balance correctly on my camera so the quality is diminished some because of the tweaking I had to do to correct it. |

I played with this image a little bit in photoshop and tried that tutorial that idnic posted about pimping eyes. I think it's the slightly grey eyes that caused people to vote this image down. I know this was a basic challenge and you couldn't have fixed the eyes by dodging and burning, but you should try it out just for fun. The image looks great with the bright clear eyes. |

I like the spots, but am not sure the white complements the hair and eyes. |

This is so creative! I commend the effort you've put forth to make this image! Feels like the subject could be slightly sharper, but not too far out. Well done! 8o) |

Creative and artistic. I like the placement of the woman's face. Good luck in the challenge. |

Clever idea, but the spots could have been a bit less obscure. |

The continuation of the pattern of spots, the almost equal area of portrate and wall and limited color raise this composition to another level. Beautiful red hair and hazel eyes are all that is left. |

A clever idea, but I am not keen on the end result. I presume that the white face was achieved with heavy 'pan' make-up;; where it has brushed on to the models hair (in my - very - subjective) view takes away much of the impact of the image. |

This is clever. I like it overall, but the major thing holding it back for me is her eyes. They're not sharply focused and the natural coloring in the corners, etc... really stand out against the white makeup. Nothing personal, but it looks a little creepy that way. |

Very interesting. I really like this idea, but the fact that its all blown is killing me. I know it was probably intentional, but still very distracting. I'll give it a five. |
