You need to straighten the horizon and it would be more effective if the subject was not centered but off to one side. |

Interesting textures and nice long shadows. Slanted horizon. |

Great capture and selection of time of day for this shot. I wish the horizon were level. |

Great silhouette. Nice subject, the colors are wonderful. Use of natural light is excellent, focus is nice too. Wonderful interest generated by the subject, works well under the challenge. 7 |

Wonderful photo. The light and colors are just perfect. This is a GREAT way to spend some alone time. The photo meets the challenge and no title needed to save it :) |

The horizon is off - takes away from the feel of the picture - but the rest is great. |

In my opinion you should have rotated it to get the horizont horizontal, not the bank of the sea. The skew water looks strange and unnatural in the background. The idea is very nice, but if you put him a very little more left (and a bit more of the sky), I think this could be a very good shot to present the rule of thirds. A little bit improve would make this an excellent one I think (as a beginner). |

Nice photo...might be improved by recropping to straighten horizon |

Can you catch fish that close in? |

The horizon looks crooked; fixing that might skew the figure, but that might look better than the crooked horizon. His shadow is also cut off at the head. I do like the soft colors and the near-silhouette - it's calming. |

I like the light, sky and shadows, but i find the tilted sea a little bit disturbing |

Beautiful color and mood. IT's really the color that does it. |

Beautiful shot...but think it would be better without the border...8 |

I like the balance of the colors in this image. It nicely captures alone. By only critique is that the horizon is slanted. A bit of rotation could have improved the photo. |

horizon isn't level...excellent job with the rest though |

I don't like the slanting horizon, but other than that I really injoy this image. The tones and colors are peasing to me. |
