 The year I was born, "Hair" opened on Broadway (April 29,1968) Hair, subtitled The American Tribal Love/Rock Musical, is a musical about hippies and was a significant part of the drug, music and peace-love culture of the 1960s.

Nice composition and beautiful model. I like the bright read hair though her face looks a bit overexposed. Now, what year are you talking about (you were supposed to state that in the title - I'm not chopping my score because of that, but I'm sure others will).

I don't remember exactly when that song came out - must have been in the early 70's. Very nice shading and color. The crop at the top leaves me wanting just a little more - otherwise, very nice composition.

Interesting choice of crop. Wish the peace sign were a little more visible. I'd possibly tone down the glow a little though I do like the affect.

What year was this? Very dreamy mood and nice warm colors. Would have loved to see the eye a bit more in focus though.

I believe this is Judi. Great lighting and sense of the times. There's a beauty and magic to this image that really stands out. The crop feels just a tad too far left. 7

No year in the title? How did you get such great feel with basic editing? A 10 for me except for the harsh shadow going up the nose and the bare shoulder breaking up the great read hair.

Take us back to yesteryear by photographing something that defined the year you were born. Start googling, looking through old news papers and magazines, and show us your photographic interpretation of the year of your birth. Your title should should include the year.

But, a nice pic ...
