With the sky not cooperating with you (I know how that is, every time I get a chance to go out and shoot, the sky seems to be yucky for me too) this may work well in B + W. Don't get me wrong, it's still a very nice shot. 8

I like the reflection in the water. I also like the colors of the fall/winter... But, the sky looks a little bright (over exposed) to me and you have lost some details in the light building also. You could probably have avoided that with a faster shutter speed or maybe a filter?? Good luck :o)

the sky and top of the buildings are a little blown out - but the colors of the trees are well done

Tough to get the sky right, isn't it? I had the same problem when I was there a couple of weeks ago. Nice composition, but the colors are pretty muted.

Beautiful shot of the lake and trees. If we were allowed to do it, I'd put in a nice sky, then I think this shot would sell. Rules as they are, you might consider using the negative space for the text instead of the lake.
