Thanks for all the comments... shame I originally forgot to add the year...
This is a very old lamp and was not ideal as it is a little 'misty' It is also, I discovered very hard
to effectively photograph a Lava Lamp!

Too bad you didn't have an old fashioned lamp. They had such a nice clear glass. This is a good idea and I like the perspective you chose. Back to bump you up to 7.

"Your title should include the year." I've got a good sense of the time period, but would love the year and a bit more to pin down the era. Love the idea.

Take us back to yesteryear by photographing something that defined the year you were born. Start googling, looking through old news papers and magazines, and show us your photographic interpretation of the year of your birth. Your title should should include the year.
