Interesting lighting for an object, but don't Jack o'lanterns really cry out for interior lighting - possibly in addition to the outside lighting that shows the shape.

Jacko my man! I do recognise this pumpkin so who else could it be? Unless of course you lent it to your brother :-) Choice image as usual.

Great Lighting, you've nailed this one. Ive never before seen a pumpkin with so much emotion and expression accross it ! Im almost refering to it here as a person - and the way you have shot this image WOW ! If theres only one thing that spoils it a little bit for me ( which no one can fix easily ) is that the Lid ( top of the pumpkin ) dosn't quite line up to where it was before cutting it off, I know thats being pinky but... AWESOME PICTURE ! ( I dont normally tell people what I'm scoring them but this is a 10 ) ;0)

Real nice!
A candle in the pumpkin would have given it more impact IMO.

Aaaaoooooooooh! Cool isolation of light! Bright spot between the eyes may get more attn that it should, but I like this idea a lot. Did you think about lighting the pumpkin from inside?
